Woodbridge High School

The students and teachers of Woodbridge High School have been supporting Lennox since 2018. Their dedication and generosity have helped us provide much-needed support to families affected by childhood cancer for many years

A House Community Making a Difference

Woodbridge’s Green House have proudly chosen Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund as its house charity, raising funds through a variety of events and activities throughout the school year.

Their ongoing support has shown the power of a school community coming together for a cause that helps children and families facing childhood cancer. Every fundraiser, challenge and awareness activity has contributed towards making a real difference to families when they need support the most.

By choosing to support Lennox, pupils and staff have not only raised vital funds but have also helped increase awareness of childhood cancer amongst their school community, encouraging compassion, understanding and a desire to help others.

Turning fundraising into family time

In the last two years alone, the funds raised by Green House have helped provide three families with a four-night respite break in one of our holiday homes, giving them the opportunity to step away from treatment schedules, hospital appointments and everyday worries for a short time.

Their support has also enabled us to provide spending money to a further three families while they were away, helping them make the most of their time together and create lasting memories as a family.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone in Green House and the wider Woodbridge High School community for their continued support. Their fundraising is helping families affected by childhood cancer enjoy valuable time together and moments of normality during an incredibly challenging period in their lives.
