A Little Fundraising, A Big Difference
The money raised by St Anne Line Junior School was used to support three families in very different ways, depending on what they needed most at the time.
One family received a financial grant to help ease the pressure of everyday bills after a single parent had to give up work to care for their child during treatment.
Another family was given a special day out to Peppa Pig World, along with new car seats, giving them the chance to spend some much-needed time together after a long period of hospital stays and time apart.
The third family received essential items including comfortable clothing, bedding and household essentials to help make things a little easier while their child rested and recovered from treatment.
What started as an Easter egg raffle at school has helped provide practical support, family time and financial relief to three families when they needed it most.
