The Difference We Make

Behind every diagnosis is a child missing school and friends, parents holding everything together and families facing no one could ever be prepared for.

Together, we can make sure no family faces childhood cancer alone.

Childhood cancer changes every part of family life.

Every day, we see the difference the right support at the right time can make.

Whether it is helping a parent through a moment of crisis, giving families precious time away from hospital, supporting a child to stay connected to school during treatment or simply being there when somebody feels alone, our support reaches far beyond the hospital ward.

Education and friendships are impacted too

We also support children  through our growing work with schools and education settings, helping children stay connected to learning, friendships and school life during treatment and beyond. This includes…

You can have an impact too

The difference we make to families facing childhood cancer would not be possible without the continued support of businesses, fundraisers, volunteers and our wider community.

Every fundraiser organised, partnership formed, event attended and donation made helps us continue providing emotional, practical and financial support to children with cancer and their families when they need it most.

Together, we can continue ensuring no family faces childhood cancer alone.

Piper’s family story

Piper’s family were devastated to discover that their young daughter had cancer. While struggling with the emotional trauma of the diagnosis, Piper’s mother also had to give up her job to care for her child and her father had to take a significant amount of time off work. The family were facing overwhelming financial strain.

To support the family through this traumatic time, we were able to provide the family with a Care and Crisis Grant.
