- 16 AV1 Robots supporting children unable to physically attend school during treatment
- School assemblies raising awareness of childhood cancer, including signs and symptoms
- Support for school staff following the diagnosis of a pupil or member of the school community
- Returning to education support so that teachers have the help they need to support the child in their return to education

Piper’s family story
Piper’s family were devastated to discover that their young daughter had cancer. While struggling with the emotional trauma of the diagnosis, Piper’s mother also had to give up her job to care for her child and her father had to take a significant amount of time off work. The family were facing overwhelming financial strain.
To support the family through this traumatic time, we were able to provide the family with a Care and Crisis Grant.
