Avery’s Smile Hits the Road to Raise Awareness for Childhood Cancer

We’re proud to share a powerful new partnership between Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund, RHA Insurance Services (RHAIS), and FRS Haulage, one that’s taking our message to roads across the UK.

Together, RHA Insurance Services and FRS Haulage have unveiled a striking new lorry curtain featuring the smiling face of Avery, a brave six-year-old girl from Essex who has been fighting cancer since the age of three. Avery’s story represents thousands of families across the UK affected by childhood cancer, and her image is now helping to raise awareness in a truly impactful way.

The curtain, proudly displayed on an FRS Haulage vehicle, also features a QR code so people who see the lorry on the road can donate directly to Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund. It’s more than just a design, it’s a moving message of hope, strength and solidarity.

Every year, around 4,200 children and young people in the UK are diagnosed with cancer with 1800 being under the age of fourteen years old. At Lennox, we work to provide emotional, financial and practical support to families facing this devastating diagnosis. This collaboration helps us to spread that mission even further and remind people that behind every statistic is a child like Avery, a family, a journey.

We are incredibly grateful to the team at RHA Insurance Services for their creativity and commitment, and to FRS Haulage for taking our message on the road. Special thanks go to Jamie Turvey and Liam Chatfield at RHA for their dedication and commitment to help raise awareness and funds for our charity, and to Frankie Stonebrook at FRS for giving this design a home on the UK’s motorways.

Our founder, Vincent Fitzmaurice, said it best:

Seeing the lorry in all its glory was truly moving, but what really touched me was seeing the faces of Avery and her family. It was pure magic. Knowing that this lorry will be travelling across the country is just mind-blowing. Thank you all for making this happen. Lennox will be forever grateful.

Family strain.

“We are proud to do more than just provide specialist cover for the haulage and logistics sector. We are committed to supporting the people and the communities behind the industry. We are honoured to be part of a truly meaningful project that touched all of our hearts.” said Jamie Turvey, RHA Insurance Services Senior Client Executive.

Liam Chatfield, RHAIS Development Manager, added “By designing this trailer curtain, we’re creating a moving billboard to show our support for Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund. Avery, her brother Jax and parents, Taylor and Elliott are truly inspirational, so to see their reaction at the reveal was very emotional.”

Frankie Stonebrook, FRS Haulage MD, said: “We are proud to put our new trailer to work for this important cause in collaboration with RHAIS and Lennox. Sharing Avery’s smile brightens our days and hopefully a few others’ too whilst raising awareness for the charity.”
