Supporting Our Work in Schools.

Through the Hiscox Foundation, the partnership also funded one day a week for a School Coordinator role, which became integral in helping us begin developing our School Support Programme. This allowed us to start delivering awareness sessions within schools around the signs and symptoms of childhood cancer, whilst also helping educate school communities on the challenges families can face following a diagnosis and during treatment.

Whilst the fundraising made a significant difference to the families we support, this partnership will always mean far more than the total raised. Finley’s memory remains at the heart of it, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone at Hiscox for the compassion, trust and continued support they showed throughout the partnership.

Two years of fundraising and support.

Built on a deeply personal connection, the two-year partnership raised more than £11,000 through quiz nights, the Three Peaks Challenge, Colchester Half Marathons and pier-to-pier walks, with teams across the business coming together to support children with cancer and their families.

Alongside fundraising, the partnership helped raise awareness of the realities families face during and beyond treatment, whilst giving Lennox opportunities to share our work with new audiences across the business and wider community.
