A Welcome Boost from Haslers Foundation

Thank you to The Haslers Foundation for making a very generous donation to support our vital, and much-loved, Respite Break Project.

We are honoured to have received a grant from The Haslers Foundation which will be used to give five families affected by childhood cancer a fully funded holiday, giving them a chance to step away from the daily pressures of treatment and spend quality time together in a peaceful and relaxing environment.

For families navigating the challenges of childhood cancer, some time away can be more than just a break, it can be a lifeline. Our Respite Breaks offer families the chance to relax, reconnect, and make cherished memories, all without the financial burden, or risk of cancellation.

Each break includes accommodation, bills, cleaning and a £200 spending money grant, ensuring families can truly unwind. These holidays are designed to bring comfort and joy during incredibly tough times.

This grant from the Haslers Foundation will have a direct impact on our local community, as many of the families we support are local to them. This project aligns perfectly with the Foundation’s mission to improve health and well-being and support young people facing adversity.

The Haslers Foundation is the charitable arm of Haslers Chartered Accountants – based in Loughton, Essex. The foundation is dedicated to supporting individuals and organisations within its operational area, which includes West Essex, East London, and South Herts. The Foundation focuses on relieving poverty, supporting those with long-term medical conditions, and enhancing the lives of young people through education, recreational activities, and personal development. It provides financial grants to registered charities and community projects that align with its mission to improve well-being and foster resilience in local communities.
