This is your chance to take on a brand new challenge created exclusively for Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund, with two nights’ accommodation included in the grand medieval coastal town of Caernarfon.
What is the Shine Bright Challenge?
Every September, we host a tough but incredibly rewarding day of challenges to mark Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. It helps us to raise awareness and funds, while showing children with cancer and their families that they are not facing cancer alone.
This year’s Shine Bright Challenge is a hike, bike, paddle and high-ropes walk through the beautiful national park of Snowdonia.

Participants will…

Cycle:
12 miles from the Caernarfon coastline to the farmlands of Snowdonia -
Trek:
10 miles to the summit of Snowdon at 1,085m, and then back down the Lllanberis Path -
High Rope:
Aerial obstacle course above the forest floor -
Kayak:
2.5 miles across the glacial lake of Llyn Padarn
We only have 60 places for this exciting challenge, and every mile will help support families facing the unimaginable. By fundraising £530pp, you’ll help us continue providing essential care for children living with cancer.
What's included?
- Personalised support before, during and after your challenge
- Training guide and all trip info supplied via a free mobile travel app
- All equipment hire including mountain bikes, helmets, kayaks, paddles, life jackets, high rope equipment. You are welcome to bring your own mountain bike and helmet if you wish

- Luggage and bike transfer from cycling and trekking transition point
- Entrance permission to national parks and lake.

Your funding options
Option 1 – Raise Sponsorship
Secure your space with a non-refundable £95 registration fee, then raise £530 through sponsorship from friends and family or your own fundraising activities. At least 80% of the minimum sponsorship amount must be raised by 11 weeks before the challenge.
Option 2 – Self-Funding
You can choose to pay for the whole experience yourself by paying the £95 deposit and the £530 cost upfront. If you do this, you wont need to raise any sponsorship.
