Overview

They help people aged up to 25 going through cancer and their families.
They provide each family with a specialist social worker who offers emotional, practical and financial support from diagnosis onwards, give grants to help cover extra costs like travel to hospital, heating bills, and loss of income if parents must stop working, run ‘Homes from Home’ — free accommodation near major children’s hospitals so families can stay close while their child is in treatment, help families navigate benefits systems, education challenges, employment rights, and housing issues and support young people and parents with coping strategies, mental health support, bereavement support, and peer connections.
