Many people are unaware of how many children and young people are diagnosed each year, the trauma they endure, or the turmoil it brings to the entire family.
We want to bring childhood cancer to the forefront of everyone’s mind!
Every year, approximately 4,200 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer, with approximately 1,800 being under the age of 14. This equates to 10 children and young people per day who are devastated by the news that they have cancer.
By going gold through September, we will highlight how much of a lifeline we are to so many families and the need for more support from point of diagnosis, through treatment and beyond.
Look out for our Go Gold coffee cups!
As part of our Go Gold, Shine Bright campaign, local cafés and businesses across Essex are helping us raise awareness by placing Go Gold stickers on takeaway cups and boxes throughout September.
The stickers aim to help start conversations, raise awareness and help more families discover the support available through Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund.
If you seen one, make sure you share it on social media and tag us!
