About EIMS

Cancer affects more than just the body, it touches every part of a child’s life and the lives of those who love them.
Our Early Intervention Mental Wellbeing Scheme (EIMS) offers vital early support to children and families affected by childhood cancer, helping them cope emotionally and mentally from the moment of diagnosis.

EIMS ensures that no child or family faces the emotional challenges of cancer alone. By providing early access to counselling, therapy, and practical wellbeing resources, we aim to prevent long-term mental health struggles and strengthen family resilience.

How We Can Help

Through EIMS, we offer:

Why Early Support Matters

A cancer diagnosis can cause fear, trauma, and anxiety not only for the child but for parents and siblings too.
Without early support, these emotions can build up over time, sometimes leading to depression, post-traumatic stress, or family breakdowns.

EIMS provides compassionate early intervention to help families cope and heal together.

Thank you for helping us to fund my daughters counselling.  Her mood has really improved, and she is more positive in general.

It’s made a difference to the entire family.
